2010 Yorktown Indoor Percussion
Presents "Boiling Point: From Ice To Steam"
The Yorktown Indoor Percussion Ensemble is a 24-28 member, competetive,
extra-curricular, student ensemble that consists of the marching band
percussion section and front ensemble section of a marching band or
concert setting. Indoor Percussion combines elements of music
performance, marching, and theater into a 4:30-5:00 minute show.
Yorktown competes in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) circuit that
includes units from Virginia and North Carolina, and the Winter Guard
International (WGI) circuit that includes units from all over the world.

Dear Yorktown Band Members, Families, and Friends -
I am pleased to announce the results of a highly successful season for the Yorktown Indoor Color Guard and Drumline. After months filled with rehearsals, competitions, snow cancellations, and lots of hard work, both groups arrived at the culmination of their season this weekend in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Thursday, March 25th at 7:30 pm, the Yorktown Winter Color Guard and Drumline
will perform their 2010 shows in the Yorktown High School gymnasium.
