Hello Band Families!
We are less than one week from Band Day, the Yorktown Band program’s biggest fundraiser of the year!
The event will be held on September 14, from 8:30am – 2:30pm.
URGENT REQUEST: At this time we are in desperate need of parent driver/chaperones. We only have 11 parents signed up so far; we need at least 20! If we don’t have enough parents to help out, we won’t be able to accommodate all the students who have signed up. Please consider signing up here.
Most students have signed up already but, if yours hasn’t yet, please have your student fill in this google form. If your student cannot participate on that day, please let Mr. Witkowski and Angela Huskey (angelahuskey@gmail.com) know, and we can find an alternate activity for your student.
Finally, thank you to all the parents who have also volunteered to bring food items for our breakfast. There are a couple of items still open, if you’d like to donate, but we’re pretty good there thanks to all of you!
Thank you all for your time and generosity! We know this is a busy time with lots of emails and lots of requests. Please consider helping out with this one as it helps to fund so many of the activities that the band programs have access to throughout the rest of the year.
