Marching Band Chaperone Interest Meeting, April 17
Calling all marching band parents! Interested in learning more about serving as a chaperone for this summer’s marching band camp, August 4-9? Find answers to your questions like 1) Can I still get work done at camp (totally); 2) Do I have to commit to the whole week (no); 3) Is it worth it? (absolutely) and more!

Preview Performance From Camp
- We will perform a preview show on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mercersburg Academy
- The performance is free and open to all families should you wish to attend.
- Lunch will not be available for guests who attend the show, so please make other arrangements.
- If parents/caregivers attend the show, you may take your student home if you wish. If they will not be riding the bus, be sure to email bandcamp@yorktownband.org in advance and check out with a bus chaperone before you leave.
Performance will be at the field between Tippett’s Hall and Sycamore Lane directly behind the chapel. See Campus Map and Get Google Directions to Mercersburg Academy

- Medication authorization (as needed, one per prescription medication): You may also submit forms that are still in effect from this past school year – completed after August 11, 2022.
Camp Fees
Regular $525 / Reduced Lunch $220 / Free Lunch $100
Fees cover transportation, lodging, food, and instruction/operations.
Fees can be paid online or via check. Online payments include a modest fee to cover our processing costs. Contact us if you still need to arrange payment.
