Hello YMB students and families,

I have a couple of items for you today.

  1. Friday, September 22- Home Football vs. West Springfield
    1. It is Rising Patriot Night and we will welcome 8th graders who are zoned for Yorktown next year.
    2. Report time is 4:45; dinner will be served.
    3. We will wear our BLACK SHOW SHIRTS with the Y-Band Shorts on Friday.

  2. Saturday, September 23 – Competition #1: Colgan Classic
    1. I am aware that there is rain predicted for Saturday. We will be traveling to Colgan regardless of the weather.
      1. If conditions are not suitable for outdoor performance, we will perform the show indoors standing still. 
      2. In this scenario, we will leave after we perform and be home about 2 hours earlier.
    2. Report time is 9:30.
    3. We will wear the Y-Band Shirt and Shorts on Saturday. Be sure to have your MTXs and tall black socks.
    4. We will be wearing the costumes Saturday. Make sure you have your black performance shirt, vest, and BLACK gloves in your uniform garment bag.
    5. Bring YHS spirit wear to change into after the performance (if we stay). You do not want to be stuck with just your Y-Band uniform and band jacket after a competition performance.
