Marching Band Chaperone Interest
Calling all marching band parents! Interested in learning more about serving as a chaperone for this summer’s marching band camp, August 4-9? Find answers to your questions like 1) Can I still get work done at camp (totally); 2) Do I have to commit to the whole week (no); 3) Is it worth it? (absolutely) and more!

- June 11 & 12: 6-8pm June rehearsals
- June 15: Band Camp Deposit Due ($250)
- June 15: Band Camp Forms Due
- July 15: Band Camp Balance Due ($275)
- July 30, 31, August 1: 6-9pm: Pre-Camp Rehearsals, Yorktown
- August 4-9: Band Camp, Mercersburg Academy (2023 Packing List)

Camp Fees
Regular $525 / Reduced Lunch $220 / Free Lunch $100
Fees cover transportation, lodging, food, and instruction/operations.
Pay deposit online or via check.
You can also save the hassle and pay the full amount online at once.
Online payments include a modest fee to cover our processing costs. Contact us if you still need to arrange payment.
For online payments, please send email to ybb.treasurer@gmail.com to confirm payment amount and student name.

Forms that need to be printed can be returned in three ways:
- Complete, scan (no photo please), and email to bandcamp@yorktownband.org
- Bring into Mr. Witkowski during school class time

Preview Performance From Camp
- We will perform a preview show on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mercersburg Academy
- The performance is free and open to all families should you wish to attend.
- Lunch will not be available for guests who attend the show, so please make other arrangements.
- If parents/caregivers attend the show, you may take your student home if you wish. If they will not be riding the bus, be sure to email bandcamp@yorktownband.org in advance and check out with a bus chaperone before you leave.
