Band Spring Trip Information
Spring Trip
We are asking for commitments as soon as possible this week. To commit, please complete the commitment form. Based on commitments, the deposit cost will be loaded into CutTime. For or those who were unable to attend last week’s meeting, here are the presentation slides.
University of Central Florida Concert: A Gershwin Celebration
Highlights:
5 Day trip, 3 hotel nights
- Only 1 or 2 days out of school for students
- Breakfasts and dinners are included except on travel days
- Access to all 3 parks at Universal Studios
- Educational elements:
- Sound design workshop at Universal

- Final payments are due as soon as possible but not later than March 5th. After Practice-A-Thon, each student’s total trip cost is TBD
- If you made the first two payments, your balance owed is TBD Please either hand your final payment by check to Mr. Witkowski (put student’s name on memo line), or you can send it by mail to the Yorktown Band Boosters at PO Box 7041, Arlington VA 22207. In either case, the check should be made payable to Yorktown Band Boosters.

- Medication Authorization Form – one per medication student is taking to camp for self-administration

* In order to make this trip happen, the Yorktown Band Boosters will have financial obligations with our travel agent at the beginning of January. Due to the holiday timing, we are granting a “no questions asked” extension for the deposit until the end of January for families who need more time. If you are able to submit the deposit by TBD, however, we ask that you do so.
Cost should not be a barrier to participation, however students must have a zero balance on their financial statements with the band in order to be eligible for the trip. For assistance or alternate arrangements, please contact Mr. Witkowski.
Pay by Check (No fees)
Please make all checks payable to “Yorktown Band Boosters” and include your student name in the memo field. Checks can be hand-delivered to Mr. Witkowski. If you wish to mail, please send to:
