Friday marks the end of the second quarter and the halfway point in the academic year. I have seen a tremendous amount of growth in our students so far this year, and am excited because I know that the best is yet to come!
Drum-A-Thon is tomorrow (Saturday, 1/20) and Our Practice-A-Thon is active now! This fund raiser is critical to help bring down the cost of the Boston trip and support clinicians and other expenses, particularly during the Assessment cycle. We know that this effort can be a HUGE success if everyone tries their best. Please visit the campaign website for more information. At this point, the students have been asked to:
- Update and personalize their individual page on the RallyUp platform
- Create a video “ask” for support that includes a please/thank you and personal message
- Reach out to family/friends/community members seeking sponsors
- Start/continue PRACTICING!
- Log their practice blocks on their RallyUp pages
Please help your student reach their individual goal by amplifying their “ask” for donors on your social media or email networks. We are not asking for students’ parents’ money; you already do so much to support them financially! Please help them build their skills to ask for and raise funds from others.
