Yorktown High School Bands

Hello YMB students and families,

Just a couple of time-sensitive items:

1. Reminder of tomorrow’s schedule
   1. Assessment is our most important performance of the year. Fans are welcome and encouraged to attend to cheer on the students and celebrate their hard work.
2. Outreach at Discovery ES
   1. On Sunday, there is a student-led outreach event at Discovery ES. Students/families are solely responsible for transportation and getting instruments/equipment to/from the event.
3. Outreach trip to Nottinham ES
   1. On Tuesday, we have accepted and invitation to perform at Nottingham ES for their Halloween parade. This is an optional event. Students wishing to participate:
      1. Must have a signed permission slip turned in by noon on Tuesday. (Hard copies available in band room)
4. Rehearsals next week
   1. We will only rehearse on Tuesday next week. I am aiming to wrap that rehearsal up at least 30 minutes early.
   2. Senior Night is Friday!
      1. Schedule
      2. Underclass students typically make posters celebrating their seniors
