Hello band families,
What a week we have coming! Two concerts in two days featuring TEN schools and THREE Yorktown High School ensembles! Since we know that Internet access can be.. um.. difficult for parents at school, the programs for the concerts are available below. Download it before you go! After such a stretch of performances, relax and unwind at Ireland’s Four Courts on Wednesday night – tell them you are there to support Yorktown Bands and they will generously donate a portion of your check to the band program.
This Week
- Mon, 6:30pm – Concert Band Pyramid Concert – Program | Refreshments
- Tues, 7pm – Wind Ensemble Pyramid Pre-assessment Concert – Program | Refreshments
- Wed, 5-9pm – Restaurant Night at Ireland’s Four Courts – Dine In or Carry Out
- Sat – Jazz band at George Mason Jazz Festival (Rescheduled) – chaperone needed
- Sat – Arlington Indoor Percussion AND Winterguard compete at Potomac High School

Bonus: Attention Swanson Alumni
As many of you know, Mr. Norris is retiring after 30 years as director of bands at Swanson Middle School. There will be a special event to honor him in June at Swanson.
