Hello band families!
We have some great events coming up before spring break (can you believe we’re almost to that milestone already?) Two of them will be on next Tuesday: Mark your calendars for a special Band Booster Meeting for all returning band families followed by a world class jazz concert featuring the US Army Blues and the Phoenix Foundation right in our own auditorium. We hope to see you then!

A Look Ahead – Booster meeting for ALL returning families
We invite all returning band families to join us Tuesday, March 12 at 6:30 pm in Patriot Hall (across from the gymnasiums) as we look ahead to next year. We’ll review the full year of events that make up our expansive band program as well as highlight areas in need of new volunteer help due to “graduating” parents.
An Evening of Jazz, Free and Open to the Public
The Phoenix Foundation (on tour from Germany) and the US Army Blues will be working with our own Yorktown Big Band in the afternoon. We still need two more people to help serve dinner in between the clinic and the evening concert. Sign up here to help us thank them and then feel free to stay for “An Evening of Jazz” at 7:30 in the YHS auditorium. A flier is attached to this email. Please help us get the word out about this amazing event.
