Hello Boston trip families,

We have a new action item required by our travel agent provider. As many of you know we are working with a company called Kaleidoscope Adventures as the travel agent for our trip. This allows us to take advantage of their expertise and vendor relationships and enables us to have things like a dedicated guide throughout our tour. 

Kaleidoscope Adventures requires a registration step through their portal for:

  • Insurance purposes
  • Dietary restriction accommodation purposes
  • Travel Protection Insurance purchase option

Please follow these instructions closely in order to register. Registration must be complete on their portal by Thursday, January 18 at 6pm. A registration must be completed for each student AND chaperone (family registrations can be completed together).

  1. Visit ​​https://www.wetravel.com/trips/-75036288
  2. Click the green “Select” button (right side)
    • If you are registering a student select “Quad Package”
    • If you are registering a chaperone select “Double Package”
    • Please ignore the pricing at this time – it does not reflect the price you will pay for the trip
  3. Select the number of packages for “Quad Package” (students) and “Double Package” for chaperones
    • Important: Enter code REGISTRATION2759 where it says “Discount Code” – this will zero out the total price
    • Click “Continue”
  4. Complete registration information for the participant(s)
    • Buyer is the parent filling out the form, participant is the student (or chaperone)
    • Passenger Primary Phone can be the student or parent
    • “Cancel for any reason” protection is available for an additional fee. This is at your discretion and, if selected, will be paid directly through this portal. This is not managed by the YHS Band Boosters.
    • After completed fields, Click “Continue”
  5. Click “Confirm Booking” – You should see the message `No payment required` if you did not select to purchase insurance. You should not see any trip payments required.

Please ignore the language about “Payment Due Dates” in the confirmation page and email as you will be working directly with Yorktown Band Boosters for payments (not Kaleidoscope Adventures). Most importantly – you should only be paying for optional trip insurance through this portal. If you are requested to pay for anything else, please go back to step 3 and ensure you have entered the discount code.
